Meeting was called to order at 7:07 p.m. by Chairman James Deming.
Old Business:
• Minutes of Meeting of 8/18/2008 was approved as written
• Minutes of Meeting of 10120/2008 was approved as amended.
A Notice of Special Permit Hearing for the application for construction of an addition of a 10' x 20' shed to an existing garage and a 10' x 24' rear deck addition to the same existing garage, as requested by Lawrence Jaquillard, for Richard Gemme, of 173 Lands End Drive, Map 101, Lot 28, has been scheduled for Monday. December 1,2008, at 7 PM at the Tolland Town Hall.
Keith Goyette's proposal to establish a Recreation Park for the racing of motorcycles and snowmobiles at 691 Hartland Road, Map 412, Lot 26, was discussed in terms whether it could meet the requirements of our by-laws. The main discussion centered on the generation of excessive noise. The applicant will be advised to study Section VILE, Commercial Recreation, of our Zoning By-Laws. He will also be advised to study Section IX.A for information on applying for Special Permits.
The open Site Plan of William McKay, of 52 Otter Pond Trail, Map 114, Lot 72, for construction of a 10 by 10 foot shed was approved by the addition of two additional signatures, after Gertrude McKay recused herself.
The open Site Plan of Timothy and Evelyn Deming, of 1403 New Boston Road, Map 403, Lot 7.7, for the construction ofa 38 by 24 foot garage, was approved by the addition oftwo additional signatures, after James Deming recused himself.
New Business:
Correspondence was read. Approval for a boat ramp on the Otis Reservoir was received from Tom Marin of Westhampton, MA. The proposed boat ramp is to be located on property owned by the Larry-Cordes trust, at 211 Moreau Road, Map 101, Lot 4. Not
Site Plan Application has been received to date.
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:57 pm.
